Oxford and Cambridge Society of India in collaboration with Oxford University Press is delighted to announce a panel discussion, Indian Languages in a Digital World,  on the 26th April, 2017 at the India International Centre. The panel will  discusses some of the challenges for Indian languages in today’s digitally interconnected world and will comprise of the following speakers:

  • Casper Grathwohl, President of Oxford Dictionaries, Moderator
  • Karunesh Arora, Center for Development of Advanced Computing (CDAC)
  • Prof. Pushpak Bhattacharyya, Director at Indian Institute of Technology, Patna and Chair Professor of Computer Science and Engineering IIT Bombay
  • Dr Swaran Lata, Director, Technology Development for Indian Languages Programme (TDIL)
  • Judy Pearsall, Director, Oxford Dictionaries
  • Dr. Poonam Nigam Sahay, Associate Professor, University Department of English, Ranchi University, Ranchi, Jharkhand
