Far Away Places,
Congenial Companions and Food for Thought...
Each year we arrange educational holidays, accompanied by Cambridge
academics, to destinations around the world. The Alumni Travel Programme
has been in existence since 1992 when the first cruise to Indonesia,
arranged by IMA, took place.
These holidays are unique, offering the chance to see some of the world's
most fascinating places in the company of an expert from the University
and companions who share the common bond of Cambridge. Music, botany,
art and architecture are just some of the subjects included.
Last, but not least, the operators make a donation to the University
for each passenger so alumni who join the Travel Programme are helping
to support teaching and research at Cambridge. To date over £500,000
has been raised in this way
